Recipe Idea
- Remove watermelon chunks from jar
- Place on paper towel and pat dry
- Wrap 1/3 strip of bacon around cube and secure it with a toothpick
- Place under oven broiler long enough to cook bacon
- Heat pickle syrup
- Place into small bowl for dipping
- Excellent served with broiled tuna or grilled salmon

Love these. There are some guys in Tidewater Va who are raising heritage watermelons. There was an article in the Virginian Pilot a month or two ago. They are only selling commercially at this time; so ,maybe you can get on their sell to list for next year if not this year!
