Description

Crisp, sweet chunks of rind with a blend of cinnamon, cloves and allspice.  One of the oldest pickles.  Bring back those memories of “Just like Grandma used to make.”

Recipe Idea

  • Remove watermelon chunks from jar
  • Place on paper towel and pat dry
  • Wrap 1/3 strip of bacon around cube and secure it with a toothpick
  • Place under oven broiler long enough to cook bacon
  • Heat pickle syrup
  • Place into small bowl for dipping
  • Excellent served with broiled tuna or grilled salmon
